3. 🛒 Orders and Payments
• By placing an order, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
• Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.
• We accept a variety of payment methods, which are displayed at checkout.

4. 🚚 Shipping and Delivery
• We ship products to select regions. Estimated delivery times are for reference and may vary due to external factors beyond our control.
• We may choose to delay shipping your initial time capsule, due to various busy periods or lack of stock.
• We are not liable for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, or other external factors.

5. 🔄 Returns and Refunds
• Time Capsule Products: Due to their personalized and sentimental nature, time capsules are non-refundable unless defective or damaged on arrival.
• All refund requests require prior authorization from our customer support team.

6. 🛡️ Item Declaration and Inspection (Time Capsules Only)
• All capsule items must be declared using the provided Item Declaration Form.
• Upon return, contents will be inspected against the form.
• Any undeclared items will be removed and returned at the customer’s expense with no refund issued.

7. ❌ Prohibited Items
You must not include in your capsule:
• Cash, coins of value, or negotiable instruments
• Electronics, batteries, liquids, perishables, or temperature-sensitive items
• Illegal substances, weapons, or prohibited goods
We reserve the right to refuse, remove, or report any item that appears unsafe or unlawful.

8. 🏢 Storage, Insurance, Transit & Liability
• Capsules are stored in a secure, climate-controlled facility.
• We maintain bailee and business insurance but acknowledge that no storage method is 100% risk-free (e.g., fire, natural disasters).
• Our liability is limited to the lesser of:
  • The total service price paid, or
  • £250 per capsule
Dear Future Me is not responsible for any damage occurring during shipping or transit either to or from our facility.
We also do not guarantee the emotional or sentimental value of the contents.

9. 🚫 No Refunds for Early Access
Once capsules are received and stored, customers cannot request refunds for early access or early delivery under any circumstances.

10. 🏢 Business Closure Clause
In the unlikely event that Dear Future Me ceases operations permanently, all stored capsules will be returned early to the last known recipient address.
We will make every effort to notify customers before closure.

Customers must provide accurate and current recipient information, including:

• Mailing Address
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Next of kin contact details
Customers are responsible for keeping this information updated.

12. 📬 Delivery and Non-Responsiveness
If we are unable to deliver a capsule within 12 months of the planned delivery date, the contents may be auctioned, and proceeds donated to a charity of our choice.
No refunds or further claims will be honored after this period.

We believe in building a future that supports others.
10% of our annual profits are donated to charitable organizations, with 5% specifically dedicated to Alzheimer’s charities, helping individuals and families struggling with memory loss.
When you create your capsule, you’re also helping protect the memories of others.

14. ⚖️ Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including logos, text, product names, and graphics — is the property of Dear Future Me and cannot be used without permission.

We handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
